Important Instructions When Opening the Program for the First Time

Step 1

To ensure that your model calculates your input correctly, you must check to see if the required program functions are “turned on.” This is a very simple but critical step.

1. Click on the program to open.
2. From the menu, select “Tools.”
3. Go to “Add Ins,” where you will see a list of boxes to check.
4. If the items listed below are checked, you do not need to take any further action and can proceed to use the program:
   1. Analysis Tool-Pak
   2. Analysis Tool-Pak VBA
5. If any of these items are not checked, simply click on the boxes beside each item. Close the program and then reopen it. Your program is ready to use.
